God has given us a clear plan for living right.
Deuteronomy 10:12: "And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,”
Proverbs 30:7–8: Two things I request of You (Deprive me not before I die): 8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches—Feed me with the food allotted to me.
Life before life
You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.—Psalm 139:13–14,16
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who makes all things.”—Isaiah 44:24
I had the strangest little dream! I went over some mountains toward the sea, and it was like paradise, like going into another world, and I came back to tell you how wonderful it was.
The thing that made it so wonderful was that there wasn’t too much of anything. It was just that simple. In that country it was impossible to do too much of anything. You couldn’t eat too much, you couldn’t drink too much, you couldn’t work too much, you couldn’t sleep too much, and you couldn’t go too far.
