For Christians, decision-making should be synonymous with finding the will of God.
Psalm 25:4–5,9: Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. 9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.
Psalm 143:10: Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
To show us what God is like:

Colossians 1:13b,15: And conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Ask God to wash your heart and renew your mind so that you will think only His positive, good thoughts.

God is infinitely more powerful than we are.

Isaiah 40:15,17,22: Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, And are counted as the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing. 17 All nations before Him are as nothing, And they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless. 22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
The spiritual realm is an unseen dimension that exists concurrently with the physical world.
2 Corinthians 4:18: While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Colossians 1:16: For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
God loves us, so we should love one another.

Children are a blessing from God.

Psalm 113:9: He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!
Psalm 127:3–5: Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
