We must desire to learn and apply ourselves.
Proverbs 2:1–5: My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God.
Proverbs 18:15: The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
Follow Jesus’ example of humility.
Matthew 21:5: "Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’"
Godly learning brings us to the knowledge of God and His love.
Job 22:21–22: Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you. 22 Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart.
