Benefits of Including Jesus in Everyday Life

We experience more of Jesus and His love.

Proverbs 8:17: I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

John 14:21: He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."

2 Corinthians 3:18: But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Revelation 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

He speaks to us and guides our thoughts.

Psalm 25:9: The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Proverbs 3:5–6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Isaiah 30:21: Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.

Isaiah 48:17: Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

James 1:5: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

He answers prayer.

Psalm 37:4–5: Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

Isaiah 65:24: It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Jeremiah 33:3: Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

John 15:16b: I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

He refreshes and restores our spirits.

Exodus 33:14: And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Psalm 23:2–3: He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

Matthew 11:28–30: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

2 Corinthians 4:16: Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

He gives us joy.

Nehemiah 8:10b: The joy of the LORD is your strength.

Psalm 16:11: You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 51:12: Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

1 Peter 1:8: Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.

He gives us spiritual strength.

Isaiah 40:29–31: He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 30:15: For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."

Daniel 11:32b: The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Ephesians 3:16–19: That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
